Warranty Policy
Solario Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Effective Date: 1 Jan 2026 | Last Updated: 1 Jan 2026
1. Introduction
This Warranty Policy describes the limited warranty provided by Solario Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Solario," "we," "us," or "our") on products purchased from our website www.solariotechnology.com, our Bulandshahr facility, authorized dealers, or any other authorized sales channel.
This Warranty Policy is supplementary to the Terms and Conditions and Terms of Sale. The specific warranty terms applicable to your purchase are stated on the warranty card issued with the product. In case of any inconsistency, the warranty card terms shall prevail for that specific product.
This is a LIMITED WARRANTY, not a guarantee. Please read Section 2 carefully to understand the legal distinction.
2. Warranty vs Guarantee — Important Legal Distinction
Solario provides a warranty, NOT a guarantee. These two terms have distinct legal meanings:
2.1 What "Warranty" Means
A warranty is a limited promise to repair manufacturing defects in a specified component, within a specified period, under specified conditions, AT SOLARIO'S SOLE DISCRETION. A warranty does NOT:
- Promise that the product will perform to any specific output level
- Promise that the product will be free from all defects
- Guarantee replacement of any component
- Guarantee a refund or compensation of any kind
2.2 What "Guarantee" Means (NOT Offered)
Solario explicitly does NOT provide any guarantee on any product. Solario does NOT guarantee:
- Any specific electricity generation output
- Any specific service life or longevity
- Any specific performance under any wind condition
- Any return on investment, payback period, or financial outcome
- Replacement of any failed component beyond warranty terms
2.3 Customer Acknowledgment
By purchasing any Solario product, the Customer acknowledges and accepts that:
- Only a limited 1-year motor warranty (as described in Section 4) is provided
- No other express or implied guarantee exists
- All marketing materials, performance estimates, generation projections, and product capabilities described anywhere are NOT guaranteed performance
3. Warranty Card Requirement
A warranty card is provided with each sold product at the time of dispatch. The warranty will only be honored upon presentation of the original warranty card. In the absence of the original warranty card, the warranty will be considered void.
The Customer is responsible for:
- Retaining the original warranty card safely
- Producing the original warranty card at the time of any warranty claim
- Ensuring all required details on the warranty card are filled in correctly at the time of purchase
Lost, damaged, or destroyed warranty cards cannot be reissued under any circumstances. Photocopies, scanned copies, or digital images of warranty cards are not accepted.
4. Warranty Coverage — STRICTLY LIMITED TO MOTOR ONLY
4.1 Scope of Coverage
Solario provides warranty coverage EXCLUSIVELY ON THE MOTOR COMPONENT of the wind turbine. NO other component is covered.
Components COVERED under warranty:
- The internal motor unit only
Components NOT covered under warranty:
- Blades (carbon glass fiber composite, plastic, or any other material)
- Tail vane / fin assembly
- Nacelle housing
- Tower, mast, mounting hardware, base plate
- Hub assembly
- Brake mechanism
- Slip rings
- Internal wiring, connectors, terminals
- Super MPPT Voltage Booster Controller
- Inverter (if supplied)
- Battery (if supplied — though typically not included with the turbine)
- Cables, junction boxes, sensors
- Lightning arrestor and earthing components
- Any external components
- Any other component not explicitly listed as covered
4.2 Warranty Period
Motor warranty period: 1 (one) year from the date of purchase as stated on the original invoice.
The warranty period:
- Begins on the date printed on the original invoice
- Does NOT extend or restart upon any repair or service
- Cannot be extended through any subsequent purchase or transaction
- Cannot be transferred (see Section 9)
4.3 What "Manufacturing Defect" Means
For the motor to be covered under warranty, the failure must be:
- An internal manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship
- Confirmed by Solario's technical inspection at the Bulandshahr facility
- Not caused by external factors (see Section 5 for exclusions)
Solario's determination of whether a defect is a manufacturing defect is final and binding.
4.4 Warranty Remedy
If a covered manufacturing defect is identified within the warranty period, Solario's sole obligation is to REPAIR the motor. Solario does NOT:
- Replace the motor with a new unit (unless repair is technically impossible at Solario's sole discretion)
- Refund any portion of the purchase price
- Replace the entire turbine
- Provide loaner equipment during repair period
- Compensate for any downtime, lost generation, or any other consequential loss
5. What Is NOT Covered
The warranty does NOT cover any of the following circumstances. If any of these apply, no warranty service will be provided:
5.1 Non-Motor Components
ANY failure or damage to ANY component OTHER than the motor itself is NOT covered. Refer to Section 4.1 for the complete list of non-covered components.
5.2 Performance Variability
Performance not meeting Buyer's expectations is NOT a warranty matter. Wind energy generation depends on actual site wind conditions, which Solario cannot guarantee. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in the motor only, NOT generation output, NOT efficiency claims, NOT any expected performance level. Refer to Section 3 of the Terms and Conditions for detailed wind speed and performance disclaimers.
5.3 Installation Issues

- Damage from installation by unauthorized (non-Solario-certified) personnel

5.10 Resale, Transfer, and Relocation

6.4 Service Timeline
- Inspection at Bulandshahr: typically 7-15 working days from receipt
- Repair time (if covered): typically 15-30 working days
- Solario does NOT guarantee any specific repair timeline
- Customer cannot claim compensation for any delay
6.5 Notification of Non-Covered Defects
If inspection reveals the defect is NOT covered under warranty (refer to Section 5), Solario will notify the Customer. The Customer must then choose:
- (a) Pay for non-warranty repair at Solario's then-prevailing rates
- (b) Have the product returned without repair, at Customer's cost
- (c) Authorize disposal of the product (no compensation)
If the Customer does not respond within 30 days of notification, Solario reserves the right to dispose of the product without further liability.
7. Motor Technology — Disclaimer of Specific Claims
